I bet you know all about Christmas in Poland. But what do you know about Christmas in Britain? I’m going to tell you.
Most families have a Christmas Tree in their homes for Christmas. Holly, ivy and mistletoe are also sometimes used to decorate houses or other buildings. People eat stuffed turkey, baked potatoes, Brussel sprouts, carrots and peas. next to the platter there is a Christmas cracker (it’s a big, long candy). Finally the British eat Christmas pudding with dried fruit and a coin for luck.
The second day of Christmas is Boxing Day. People give boxes for milkmen and for newsboys.
